Seth Panwum, the Board Chairman of the National Sports Authority (NSA), has assured that both the Accra and Cape Coast stadiums are fully prepared to host the upcoming Ghana vs. Sudan match in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
While the venue for the matchday three fixture has not been officially confirmed, following CAF’s ban on Baba Yara Stadium due to its poor surface, Panwum expressed confidence in the alternative options.
He stated that both stadiums are in excellent condition and invited CAF officials to inspect the facilities, asserting that if inspections go well, the match will be held in Ghana. The Black Stars are scheduled to regroup for their doubleheader against Sudan next month.
