According to information acquired by Faculty tv, the former first lady, Theresa Kufuor, has passed on.
On Sunday, October 1, Mrs. Kufuor, née Mensah, reportedly passed away.
From January 7, 2001, to January 6, 2009, she held the position of First Lady of Ghana.
She took on the position after Jerry John Rawlings was succeeded as President of the Republic of Ghana by her husband, John Agyekum Kufuor.
In order to aid in the healthy development of children and stop the spread of diseases from mothers to children, Madam Theresa founded the Mother to Child Community Development Foundation while serving as First Lady.
