The police have rescued Nana Ottupre Kwagyan, the chief of Kubease, a suburb of Kwahu Abetifi in the Eastern Region, who was allegedly kidnapped by unknown men.
According to preliminary reports, the alleged victim was forcefully taken from his house by six persons and taken to an unknown location on Monday, 16th October 2023.
However, the swift intervention of the police following a report of the incident led to the rescue of the victim at Abene. Currently, the victim is in safe custody while the police investigate to arrest the perpetrators.
