The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been advised by the Ningo-Prampram MP to dismiss the petition against Dr. Omane Boamah as Director of Election and ICT right away.
Samuel George is adamant that the “baseless” petition might divert the appointee’s focus from the task at hand.
The petitioner was invited to withdraw his petition and join the party in order for it to win back power in the 2024 general elections by the Deputy Ranking Member of the Select Committee on Communications in a letter to the party’s Council of Elders on Monday, September 18.
The outspoken politician claimed that every devoted party member’s current concern should be winning the upcoming elections.
“I kindly request that you promptly reject the aforementioned petition as it has the tendency to divert the appointee’s attention from the serious assignment we have given him.
