Alan Kyerematen, a former candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s flagbearer position, will speak to the public today about his political ambitions.
This comes after the former Minister of Trade and Industry’s decision to drop out of the NPP’s presidential race a few weeks ago.
The seasoned politician announced his exit from the race on September 5, 2023, citing unfairness, unjust treatment, and electoral irregularities.
Mr. Kyerematen stated when he announced his withdrawal that he would discuss his future political career in due course.
Meanwhile, some political observers predict that Mr. Kyerematen, who has a sizable following in the NPP, would declare his intention to run as an independent in the 2024 election.
