Police have arrested two people in connection with Adoagyiri chieftaincy feud in the Eastern Region.
The authorities are investigating the deaths of three people in two different instances linked to the chieftaincy conflict.
In the first event, which occurred months ago, a death from a possible gunshot was reported.
A few weeks later, namely on Tuesday, August 29, two fatalities were reported in crossfire at Adoagyiri.
The Eastern Regional Security Council (REGSEC) Chairman, Seth Kwame Acheampong, who doubles as the Regional Minister, had mentioned the incident contravened the Public Order Act and Arms and Ammunition Act, which deals with possession of arms or ammunition without authority.
A ban on outdoor activities is in force, while heavy police presence has been sustained for public safety and stability.
