The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, has urged Ghanaians to not vote for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, in the upcoming December 7 polls.
Dr. Bawumia believes he is the best choice for developing the country and being accountable to the people. Speaking at a meeting with the clergy in the Northern Region, Dr Bawumia emphasized that Ghanaians should not elect John Dramani Mahama as president because he would only serve a single four-year term and therefore not be accountable to the people.
Dr Bawumia stressed that as he is seeking an 8-year term, he would work hard in the first four years to earn another four years by being accountable for his actions, unlike his opponent, John Dramani Mahama, who would not have to seek re-election after his first term.
