Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh’s ticket has the endorsement of President Akufo-Addo, who expressed his unflinching trust in their abilities to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to victory in the upcoming general elections this year.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also called Napo, received the official endorsement of the NPP National Council on Thursday, July 4.
President Akufo-Addo welcomed the confirmation and praised the pair as a “great pairing,” expressing his excitement for the ticket.
In the 2024 general elections, he expressed his unwavering belief that they would lead the NPP to victory.
President Akufo-Addo emphasized the two’s leadership abilities and combined skills when he told reporters that they were the ideal team to succeed him following their confirmation.
Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh’s nomination to be Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s running mate has received the support of the National Council.
“The good news is that we will prevail on December 7, 2024, thanks to the great ticket that the NPP possesses. They constitute an excellent team and will prevail, he said. “It feels good.”
