Two individuals have been detained by the police for planning to rob someone.
On September 14, as officers were conducting a regular stop-and-search, the suspects, Adams Kwame and Abubakari Sharif, along with two other people who are still on the run, attempted to flee from the authorities. They were all apprehended at the Tweapease Police checkpoint.
A pump action gun, two live BB rounds, two machetes, and a catapult were seized from them.
According to preliminary investigations, the suspects were in possession of the exhibit items when they attempted to conduct a robbery.
They are currently being held and will appear in court while efforts are being made to apprehend the other two.
