Actor Prince David Osei claims that it is a divine calling for him to lead Ghana as president.
He claimed that when he originally revealed his ambition, a lot of people thought he was kidding.
But he thinks this is one of the blessings from God that he has received.
“God has given something to everyone on this planet. People will sometimes tell you that you talk large when you speak, but if you don’t say it, it won’t happen.
The actor stated over the weekend on Joy FM, “I think I have the calling; it’s not even that I want to be president.”
“What I’m doing here right now today, I dreamt it before becoming a star. I’m not joking. When I was 14 years old, I knew I was going to become somebody popular.
“I began to pray for it even though I had no idea what it was. Prince David Osei said, “And in the same way, I saw the president’s vision.”
Despite their lack of familiarity, he informed Kwame Dadzie, the host, that Prophet Amoako Atta had also delivered a prophecy akin to his.
“When we say stuff, it’s not like maybe we are drunk or I might not look like it, but who are you to judge?” Prince David Osei stated. God is free to create anyone in his image. How many years have you allowed yourself to wait for this to happen?
The actor first announced his goal to hold Ghana’s highest position in October 2023, which was met with scepticism from friends and peers.
He posted on Instagram, drawing motivation from Barrack Obama, America`s first Black president, and holding out hope that his ambition will eventually come true.
“My game pals don’t want to support me because, no matter how hard I try to resist the calling, everything indicates that I must be president someday. However, he wrote, “What is written is written.”
“Obama became the US president two years after he was unable to pay his parking fines. Investors, assemble here, please ooo…Everything is possible when God is involved. “Family, have a blessed week,” Prince David Osei continued.
The actor stated he had no problem with the concept of accepting an appointment in the upcoming NPP government when asked if he would accept one.
If he was qualified for the position to which he would be assigned, he said that he would gladly accept it.
