Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, the running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), believes that Mr. John Dramani Mahama, the party’s flagbearer, is the best candidate to lead the nation at this crucial juncture.
During her campaign trip of the Central Region, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang spoke to NDC supporters in Twifo Praso on Tuesday. She said that the government had left the nation in a dire economic situation with no way out.
Ghana cannot remain on such a downward trajectory, she said, and it is crucial that the proper person is chosen to lead the nation out of its current challenging situation.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang stated that NDC flagbearer Mr. Mahama is the ideal candidate with the necessary expertise to rescue Ghana from its current economic predicament, having previously served this nation.
She emphasized that Mr. Mahama is proposing programs like the 24-Hour Economy, Women Development Bank, National Apprenticeship program, and the Big Push, among many others, because he has the best interests of the people of Ghana in mind.
Mr. Mahama respects all Ghanaians, but especially ladies, and he has a wonderful heart. When elected, he will go above and beyond to provide more support for Ghanaians, she stated.
Thus, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang urged voters to cast a large ballot for the NDC in the forthcoming general elections on December 7.
