The judge handling the case involving the purported Kasoa ritual ordered that Nicholas Kini, the second accused, be sent from police custody to the Nsawam prison.
The 15-year-old Felix Nyarko and the 18-year-old have been on trial in tandem for murdering 10-year-old Ishmael Abdallah.
However, it is reported that the second accused has alternated between the Nima, Ministries, Cantonment, and Osu police stations in Accra.
The case’s investigator revealed that the suspect enjoys fighting with other inmates.
The prosecution informed the judge on Monday in court that the Osu Police station, where the second accused is presently being held, has indicated that they will not be accepting Nicholas Kini back into their custody.
The prosecution then asked the judge to grant a trial warrant so that the defendant may be taken into custody of the prison.
However, Nicholas Kini, the accused, refuted these claims. While acknowledging that he is aware of this, his attorney requested that the court issue a warning to his client.
On the other hand, Judge Lydia Osei Marfo mandated that the accused remain in the Nsawam prison and appear in court as demanded.
