Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, former Minister of Education, has committed to collaborating with John Mahama, the opposition National Democratic Party’s flagbearer, in the upcoming general elections.
She expressed her dedication to serving Ghana with “integrity, dignity, truthfulness, hard work, and patriotism.”
Professor Opoku-Agyemang was nominated as John Mahama’s running mate by the National Executive Committee (NEC) and Council of Elders of the NDC on Thursday, March 7.
She expressed her appreciation for the overwhelming support and endorsement in a press statement.
She expressed optimism about John Mahama’s ability to provide “selfless, incorruptible, visionary, and inclusive leadership” that Ghana needs, and pledged to dedicate herself entirely to the task.
