Dr. Kwesi Nduom, the former owner of GN Bank, has appealed to the Governor of the Bank of Ghana to reconsider the revocation of the bank’s license. He claims the bank still has viable assets and is ready to resume operations if its license is reinstated.
The Bank of Ghana revoked GN Bank’s license in 2019 due to regulatory breaches and insufficient capital adequacy. Dr. Nduom disputes these claims and insists that the bank had sufficient funds. He implores the Governor to review the evidence and reinstate the license and assets.
Dr. Nduom also highlights the potential positive impact on the economy if GN Bank is allowed to resume operations.
