The southern part of the country has seen intense rains, prompting the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) to issue weather warnings.
According to the report, a downpour that was seen over southern Togo is what caused the rain in Ghana.
It is predicted to move westward and bring cloud cover and thunderstorms to parts of southern Ghana. The intensity of the rain is also expected to vary.
Over certain areas, the downpour is expected to be accompanied by moderate to strong winds.
Due to severe rainfall, regions around Akim Oda, Keta, Dzodze, Anloga, Ho, Ada foah, Accra, Kasoa, Dodowa, Madina, Nsawam, Koforidua, and Aflao are expected to observe preventive measures on Monday, May 6, between 7 and 11 in the morning.
But there won’t be much risk at Takoradi, Tarkwa, Axim, Cape Coast, or anywhere else around it.
It is anticipated that the sea will be rough.
