In their 2-0 victory over Newcastle United on Sunday, Thomas Partey came on as a substitute for Arsenal in the 80th minute, taking the place of Martin Odegaard. He had entered the game as a substitute for the Gunners twice in a row.

Left-back When Gideon Mensah made his comeback for AJ Auxerre in their 1-1 draw with Clermont Foot, he played the entire 90 minutes.
For Clermont Foot, defender Alidu Seidu completed his 90-minute playing time after serving his ban. Grejohn Kyei, a Ghanaian of French descent, played 79 minutes for Clermont Foot.
Strasbourg won 2-0 at Nantes under the leadership of Alexander Djiku, who played the full ninety minutes and moved Strasbourg up to position 14 on the league standings.

Due to a season-long injury, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh was not present for Freiburg as they fell to Leipzig 1-0 at home.
Ansgar Knauff, a German-born player, came on for Eintracht Frankfurt in the 83rd minute of their 3-1 defeat at Hoffenheim.
Forward The entire ninety minutes of Bochum’s 2-0 loss to Borussia Monchengladbach were played by Christopher Antwi-Adjei.
Kingsley Schindler, a new player from Ghana, came on as a substitute in the 65th minute and played for 26 minutes as FC Koln defeated Bayer Leverkusen 2-1. For Leverkusen, Jeremie Frimpong played the whole 90 minutes while Callum Hudson-Odoi was absent from the lineup.
Serie A
Young midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana entered the game for his team Hellas Verona in the 70th minute as they defeated Lecce 1-0 to move three points clear of the drop.
Alfred Duncan, a former midfielder for the Black Stars, played 65 minutes as Fiorentina fell to champion Napoli 1-0.
Emmanuel Gyasi played for 61 minutes before being taken off as Spezia fell to Cremonese, another team fighting for survival, 2-0. In the 88th minute, Cremonese substituted in Felix Afena-Gyan.
