Haruna Iddrisu, the former Minority Leader and Member of Parliament for Tamale South has expressed confidence in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) winning all 11 parliamentary seats in the Upper West Region in the upcoming December elections.
He shared the party’s strategic approach with reporters during a regional sensitisation programme and emphasized their determination to secure victories in all constituencies.
Haruna Iddrisu mentioned that the Lambussie-Karni constituency already seemed promising, with additional efforts focused on securing wins in areas such as Nandom and the Sissala East district. He said,
“We are determined to capture all the 11 seats in the Upper West Region. Lambussie is already in the basket, and we are narrowing down our strategy to get Nandom while being determined to win all 11 seats and also in the Sissala area. I have played a quiet diplomatic role in reconciling the previous Sissala candidate with the NDC candidate, and they are now working together.”
