Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has claimed that the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration has fulfilled 80% of the promises outlined in their 2020 manifesto.
He contrasted this with the reported failure of John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, to deliver on 203 out of 280 promises made in his 2012 manifesto.
Bawumia’s claim is based on an independent assessment of the administration’s performance. The assessment found that the administration has fulfilled 80% of its promises, and that the remaining 20% are either in progress or still under consideration.
