King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the GA Mantse, has said that the Greater Accra Region will play a crucial role in deciding how the 2024 elections turn out.
When Nana Kwame Bediako, the leader of the New Force Movement, visited the King of Accra a courtesy call to ask for his approval and blessing before embarking on a tour of the Greater Accra area, the King made this audacious declaration.
Referred to as the fourth Republic’s most significant election, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II urged for a nonviolent approach.
“Accra will decide this year’s election, and I want to say that it is the most important election in the entire 4th Republic, but we as Ghanaians must recognize that we must not allow ourselves to be used as leverage to harm one another.”
The Ga Mantse emphasized the value of harmony and collaboration amongst all political parties and urged calm and courteous campaigning.
To make sure their opinions are heard and their votes are counted, he urged voters to actively participate in the election process.
In his request for the Ga Mantse’s blessing, Nana Kwame Bediako, the head of the New Force Movement, pledged to promote harmony and peace via his advocacy.
