According to the Ghana Police Service, two individuals have been taken into custody on suspicion of having killed a US citizen in the Central Region’s Nyinasen, close to Cape Coast.
The two suspects, Yussif Afrim and Togolese Wisdom Sete were detained on Friday, April 19, in Assin Praso in the Central Region on suspicion of their suspected involvement in Naomi Jehubiyah’s murder, according to a statement released by the agency on Sunday, April 21.
The police claim that their first investigation reveals that Yussif Afrim and Wisdom Sete, who is thought to be the deceased’s fiancé, planned to assassinate Naomi Jehubiyah.
The statement stated that the dead person’s remains have been placed at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for preservation and autopsy.
Two of the deceased’s cars have reportedly been recovered from the suspects who are being held by the police to help with ongoing investigations, according to the police.
