Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, the Minority Leader in Parliament, strongly condemned the Akufo-Addo administration for failing to deliver on its commitment to transform Ghana within the first 18 months of taking office.
During a heated debate on President Akufo-Addo’s State of the Nation Address, he boldly predicted that the current administration would be remembered as the least successful in Ghana’s history.
Dr. Ato Forson didn’t mince words as he chastised the government for causing chaos and creating a mess in the country.
He emphasized that the nation’s economic situation is far worse than the rosy picture painted by the President during the SONA. According to him, President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia are in denial about the true state of Ghana today.
“Parliament remains a House of record, and the record must reflect nothing but the true state of our nation. It’s time for the government to face reality and deliver on its promises.
The people of Ghana deserve better than this,” he concluded assertively.
