Former President John Dramani Mahama will be in the Western Region from Friday, March 24 as part of his nationwide campaign tour.
He will be in the Region for three days to meet delegates as he seeks to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) again in elections.
It will be a campaign tour coming on the heels of a similar one in the Ashanti Region.
The former President, whose nomination forms were submitted on his behalf by Prof Joshua Alabi on Wednesday, has promised to turn around the economy of the country if voted for as President again.
He has promised to scrap ex gratia payments among other hardliner decisions to see Ghana back on track.
He is expected to end his tour on Sunday with a trip to Jomoro Constituency.
The NDC Presidential Primaries is scheduled for Saturday, May 13 across the country.
