Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus created a touching moment with a young fan after scoring his seventh goal for West Ham United.
A video of the moment has gone viral, showing Kudus signing a jersey for the young fan who displayed the Ghanaian flag at the London Stadium.
The win secured West Ham’s first-place position in Group A, with five victories in six games. Edson Alvarez scored the Hammers’ second goal after assisting Kudus in scoring the team’s first goal.
Kudus has won the hearts of West Ham fans since joining the team in the offseason from Ajax Amsterdam. His goal against Brentford was recently voted the Goal of the Month in November.
The Black Stars player is expected to be included in Chris Hughton’s squad for the 2023 AFCON campaign in Cote D’Ivoire. Ghana has been placed in Group B, Egypt, Cape Verde, and Mozambique.
