Agyemang Diawusie, a Ghanaian player of German descent, has reportedly passed away.
On Tuesday, November 28, the winger for Jahn Regensburg passed away.
The Red Shorts declared, “The club is shocked and deeply saddened by this tragic event.”
The news was deemed “terrible” by them.
“The club also posted on their official social media accounts, saying, “The Jahn family mourns with the bereaved and our thoughts are with Agyemang’s family, relatives, close friends and companions.”
“Due to the terrible situation and out of respect for his family, we ask that their privacy be respected.”
Agyemang Diawusie last played for the club in the third division of German football on Saturday, November 4.
He previously played for the German U-15 and U-19 youth sides.
He played for RB Leipzig and a host of clubs before joining Jahn Regensburg this year.
