Former president John Dramani Mahama has declared he will not shield any of his appointees who commit acts of corruption. If he wins the presidency again in the 2024 general elections
He declares that he will permit any act of corruption involving his appointees to be looked into by state investigative agencies.
During his “Building the Ghana We Want” tour, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer accused President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of covering up for his appointees who are suspected of engaging in corruption. He made these accusations while speaking to wood vendors in Techiman on Monday, November 20.
He declared, “Under this current administration, corruption is getting out of hand.”
“President Akuffo Addo exonerates his appointees who are charged with corruption even before state institutions look into the matter,” he continued.
“Any appointee who engages in corruption will not be shielded under my administration,” he declared.
