Nora Häuptle, coach of the Black Queens, has stated that she would rather focus on enhancing the strengths of her team than on the faults.
Coach Nora was speaking to the media before Ghana’s second match against Guinea in the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers.
“As I previously stated, we are a force to be reckoned with. I don’t evaluate my team’s strengths and faults. I believe we have many strengths, and my first priority is to strengthen the team’s strengths.”
It was good to see Coach Nora after an exciting trip to Guinea, but her team is calm and focused on the upcoming game.
“It’s good to be back in Accra, we had a good away game, we faced some challenges on this adventurous journey to Guinea, but we had a very stable game,” he said.
“I was very pleased with how we brought our idea to the pitch, how well we analyzed our opponent, and how well we controlled the game.”
“Now, regarding our recovery, we had a long flight after our initial flights were cancelled, but in all of the challenges we faced, we tried to drive solutions and regain energy, so we had a good recovery session yesterday and today we do the final training.” Nora elaborated.
“I’m looking forward to playing in front of a large crowd tomorrow and winning the second game against Guinea.”
The return leg versus Guinea is set to begin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
