Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), is visiting police stations in Accra today, Thursday, July 6.
Amasaman Divisional Headquarters is the first stop.
This will allow him to evaluate the level of assistance the general population receives when they go to police stations.
He is accompanied by a few Police Management Board members.
In the many stations he visits, he will also pay sick officers a visit.
The Police administration has been monitoring the country’s overall security condition.
For instance, last week, at the Assin Bereku Presby basic school in the Central Region of Ghana, the Central North Regional Commander, DCOP Mr. Emmanuel Teye-Cudjoe, ASP Stella Adjei-Kodom and ASP. Margaret Avornyo embarked on a security tour to assess the general security situation in the area.
