After his contract with Nottingham Forest expired, the captain of the Black Stars was let go.
Andre left Al Sadd at the end of last year and joined the team in January on a six-month contract.
After returning to English football to play for Forest under Steve Cooper, the 33-year-old made 13 appearances for them.
In an effort to avoid being relegated from the Premier League, Forest signed the Ghanaian to their roster.
Andre played 306 minutes for the team without scoring a goal, and during that time, he also missed a penalty. The forward, who is now a free agent, is looking to join a new team before the start of the upcoming season.
