The High Court in Accra has sentenced four more members of the Western Togoland Restoration Front and Homeland Study Group, who were attempting to secede the Volta Region from Ghana, to 17 years in prison.
Apart from the imprisonment, each of the four has been fined GH26,400 in total.
This came about following their conviction on several counts, including membership in an illegal organization, before Justice Mary Maame Ekue Yanzu.
The individuals found guilty are Togbe Yesu Adudzie alias Michael Koku Kwabla Amwetonu Gohey, Joshua Tawiah Agblorm alias Nene Kwaku Agblorm II, Dzreke Mawuena Adreke Mawena Abednego, and WOI Emmanuel Hayford Afedo.
